Winning mentality!
2s lost the toss today. We were asked to bowl first. Not our usual display though. Bowlers struggled a little for the first few spells! First break through came from Fahim C. And then the batting side built partnerships for few wickets. In the end our bowlers got their mojo back and got the opponents all out for 228. Tariqul was pick of amongst the bowlers getting 4 wickets. Sajib took 3, Fahim C 2 and Talal 1. With bowling rate being slightly poor we had to chase the target in 38 overs.
Openers started well but after fall of Sajib, Juwel (mankad), Fahim C LBW, the batting started to look very challenging but not for our Tahbib. He scored with ease 101 (58) hitting 7 sixes and 5 fours. Well supported by Asad 38(60). Their partnership if 146 runs broke the hearts of the opponents. Finished well by Ahad and Rabbani Bhai bringing the victory for FLOW CC 2 yet again!
It shows what an amazing winning mentality FLOW CC has!
For his amazing batting display, Syed Tahbib Fahim is well deservedly the Man of the match!

Alhamdulillah, all three of our squads secured important victories today. A fantastic result for the entire club.
More importantly, we are incredibly proud of the unity, bonding, and passion shown by all the players. Whenever one team finished their match, they immediately went to support and cheer on the other XIs. This happened throughout the season so far, and we are not sure many clubs can bring all three XIs together in the way we do.
We also had a lot of fun after the matches. The 2nd and 3rd XI players joined the 1st XI at Blackheath, and with the current football World Cup fever in full swing, the boys decided to have a football match of their own. It was a brilliant way to end the day and something everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
Days like these are about much more than just winning. They reflect the spirit, togetherness, and culture of our club. Well done to everyone involved. 💚🏏⚽
